GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR REFRIGERATED DISPLAY CABINETS CC

  1. Services Offered

Our refrigeration company offers a variety of services related to but not limited to selling, installation, repair, and maintenance of refrigerated display cabinets and refrigeration systems. We provide these services to commercial customers.

  1. Payment Terms

Purchases/Installations

Payment for our services is 75% deposit due upon acceptance of our quotations and 25% balance due upon completion/delivery of the work/stock unless prior arrangements have been made with our company or if you have been awarded specific terms. If payment is not made within the agreed-upon timeframe, we reserve the right to charge interest at 24% per annum prescribed by the National Credit Act [No.34 of 2005] of South Africa on the overdue account.

     Call Outs/Repairs/Maintenance

Payment for the above services is strictly 100% due 7 days after invoice date unless prior arrangements have been made with our company or if you have been awarded specific terms. If payment is not made within the agreed-upon timeframe, we reserve the right to charge interest at 24% per annum prescribed by the National Credit Act [No.34 of 2005] of South Africa on overdue accounts.

  1. Legal Cost

Any costs including but not limited to Legal Costs, Debt Collection Costs incurred by us, in the process of settling outstanding accounts will be billed accordingly to the customer’s account.

  1. Goods

Goods purchased remain the property of RDC-Refrigerated Display Cabinets cc until full payment is received.

Any goods returned will be subject to a 30% handling fee as well as full transport and installation/de-installations costs.

  1. Termination/Cancellation of Services

We reserve the right to terminate services at any time for any reason, including non-payment or violation of these terms and conditions.

  1. Liability

Our company takes every reasonable precaution to ensure that our services are carried out to the highest standard. However, we cannot be held liable for any damages or losses that may occur as a result of our services.

  1. Warranty

We provide a limited warranty which is product specific. Due to warranty being product specific this will be communicated to you during your purchase. Any warranty claims must be made in writing and will be subject to inspection by our technicians.

  1. Confidentiality

We respect the privacy of our customers and will not disclose any confidential information to third parties without the customer's consent, except as required by law.

  1. Indemnification

Customers agree to indemnify and hold our company harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from the customer's use of our services.

  1. Amendments

We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to customers in writing and will become effective immediately.

By accepting our services or by receipt of a deposit, customers acknowledge that they have read and understood these terms and conditions and agree to be bound by them.
